Chicago Midway Airport to Downtown cheapest and best?
I will be traveling with 2 kids and another adult so 4 people total. What is the best and cheapest, yet realistic, way to get from Midway Airport to our hotel downtown which is the Embassy Suites Lakefront? Should we take taxi, shuttle, or is there any public transportation? The hotel has shuttle, but costs $
I guess it kinda depends on what your budget is. You can do the the Chcago Airport Express Van System which is EASY and quick. 36buck/two people
You can do the Orange Line which will send you straight to the loop where you can transfer, etc. 1.50 per person…but a little more hassle and you have to drag your luggage around with you…
You can do a taxi for about 45 dollars from Midway to downtown…there are prenegotiated rates so make sure you agree to them before you get in the cab.
