The cheapest public transport from New York to Washington DC?
Hi! I want to know the cheapest public transport in the city of New York Washington DC. Thank you!
Megabus and Bolt Bus, two very nice bus that will pick you up, not far from Madison Square Garden (Megabus leaves 32nd Street and 8th Avenue, or thereabouts, and bolt leaves from 7th Avenue and 33rd Street) and drop you off near 10 and H Street NW Washington, DC, about a block north of Metro Center station. I installed both and they are cheap, clean and comfortable. Both offer WiFi. Bolt Bus has taken the back seat where you can plug your electronics if necessary. One time I Megabus (round trip), they were arrested near Baltimore take (or drop) passengers. Megabus also double floor. If I had to choose which one I take, I'd probably choose the one that left at the time I wanted to go to a lower price. I suggest you use one of those, like the Chinatown buses are not very reliable, and the Greyhound station in DC is even worse than the Port Authority and not in the best neighborhood. Greyhound is terrible.
