public transportation directions chicago
How can I get to Mitsuwa Market?

I live in Chicago and me and my friend were trying to get to Mitsuwa Market in Arlington Heights by public transportation. If you could, please give us detailed directions if possible. :D

Take the “Metra Rail” train at Chicago “Ogilvie Transportation Center” at Madison & Canal Streets. For information on Chicago Station, press the following link: http://metrarail.com/Sched/cnw_nw/chicago_ogilvie.shtml

You will travel with the “Union Pacific Northwest Line” to “Arlington Heights”. Get off at “Arlington Heights” station.For more information on “Arlington Heights” station, press the following link: http://metrarail.com/Sched/cnw_nw/arlington_heights.shtml

Once you are in Arlington Heights station, call any of the two taxi companies in the town since there is no direct bus service to Mitsuwa Market. The travel time from the station to the location is about 8-10 minutes. I have provided the taxi companies with their pone numbers or website.

SUGGESTIONS

- Always give yourself plenty of time to get to the stations. So you’ll have enough time to buy ticket, familiarize with the stations, get answer to your traveling questions, and more.
- Remember: always do questions to “Metra” personnel/employees only.
- When calling the taxi companies, remember to ask how do they charge the trip: by a flat fare or by meter.
- Always keep the phone numbers available so you can call them when returning to the station.
- Have a train schedule available for you, so you can plan your return trip.
- Call the station with any question you may have. Press the links provided to obtain information for the stations you will be traveling.

Have a good trip!
