Find cheap accomodation in England?
Hello. I am 21 and i live in France. I would like to go England to get a summer job and work there for about a month. Where am i most likely to find cheap accomodation? Ideally i would like to find a roommate. I thought about going to London as it is very cheap to go there thanks to the Eurostar (it is a train which goes from France to england) but i heard that London was a very expensive city. Ideally i would like to find a place where i could understand people english accent….. i understand the BBC NEWS accent (lol sorry for saying it that way) I do not understand amy winehouse accent for example. Also how expensive is public transportation in england? If i could find a place where it does not cost that much it would be good. I am searching for accomodation RIGHT NOW!!!!! So if you know someone please tell me. What are the student cities in England?

Be prepared for the prices, London is indeed very expensive.
Related to the transportation, it depends where you live and if you are going to take a bus(90p) or the tube.
