What should I know about downtown Chicago, IL? (Loop, Belmont, other areas…)?
I will be living in Chicago, IL for about a month starting this wednesday for the Art Institute’s early summer college program. I consider Chicago my second home, and am quite familiar with the way things work, on the street, at night, and with public transportation… I’m just not as familiar as one would be if they lived downtown all year ’round. So. Overall, I was wondering if anybody had any tips for saving money, keeping safe, transportation, and places to go for music, etc. for while I’m in Chicago?
thanks.
