Miami, Fl, for college student?
I’m contemplating transfering to Johnson&Wales Miami campus in the spring and wanted to know from Miami or other FL residents (or people who have lived there) what the city is like. Is public transportation safe? Is there any fun things to do or attractions you’d reccomend? Is the public transportation reliable? Are the people semi-friendly?Snooty? Are things in FL relatively cheaper then the Northeast(i’m from Philadelphia) so in comparisson? Any details you could provide me would best apprectiaed. I’m 19 btw.
The J&W campus is in a not very good neighborhood & public transport there is okay — but I wouldn’t wait at a bus stop in the dark.
Miami is a huge city; Parts are good & parts are bad. The good parts tend to be expensive. You’d be much happier with a car.
