How far is West Chester, PA from Philadelphia?
I am thinking of attending school in West Chester, Pa and I just wanted to know how long it takes to get to Philadelphia by car and by public transportation so that I can enjoy the wonders of the city.
West Chester itself is a GREAT little town – it’s been referred to as Little Philly, and they’re really jazzing up the downtown (where the college is located)
Driving into Philadelphia can be HORRENDOUS during rush hour, but getting in and out in the evenings and on weekends isn’t too bad. Expect it to take you about an forty five minutes to an hour (it’s 25 miles). You can also get to Wilmington, DE, in the same amount of time, and you’re not far at all from tax free shopping in DE.
