Using public transportation in England?
I’m pretty confused when it comes to public transportation so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I was wondering, if I were to stay somwhere in London during my trip overseas, is there some form of public transportation I could take to get to Alton (which I believe is in Hampshire)?
And if so, how would I find out how much that costs?

You can take a train from London Waterloo to Alton.
Depending on which train you end up on, the journey takes anywhere from 1:10 to 1:43…
