Is it safe to take public transportation from California State University Long Beach to UCLA?
i just wanna know if taking buses there is a good idea, or will i get mugged for my cash? or iono, if it’s worth the risk to commute.
there are a couple of ways of gettting to UCLA from long beach
one routing would to take one of the 90 buses (or even the 577)
from Cal state to the Transit mall then take the Blue line to the Imperail
station then board Line 305 this route will *eventally* get to UCLA
(its a long route)
cost is 90cents +.40 for the transfer to the Blue Line
thats one option
another one is take the same buses to the transit mall
board a 232 bus take this to the Lax transit center then transfer to
Culver city (Green bus)the Culver city bus will take to UCKLA
cost is 90cents +.40 for the transfer
and then another .30 cents after giving the transfer from long beach
the 232 driver
or a little faster routing would take 577 going east on 7th
to the Green line station then take the Green line to the Aviation station then the Culver city #6
this route would cost you $1.80 +1.25 +30 cents for the transfer
thats $1.80 for the 577 and the $1.55 (you get the ticket from
the ticket vending machine for the green line)_
