Disneyland is located in Anaheim, Orange County in the U.S. state of California. If you travel by plane, then book flights to be Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or John Wayne Airport, both located near the Disneyland resort.
John Wayne Airport is the closest airport to the Disneyland Hotel about fourteen miles. Located in Santa Ana, California, John Wayne (Orange County or) the airport is much smaller than Los Angeles and is therefore very easy to navigate.
If you arrive at John Wayne Airport, you can get to Disneyland in transit or you may prefer to rent a car and drive.
If you drive, you must rejoin Highway 55 and travel north for approximately three miles. So you Join Freeway 5 and continue north for about seven miles. Look for the signs for Harbor Boulevard that you want to join, then just follow the signs for Disneyland.
LAX is about 35 miles from Disneyland and the journey can be made by driving yourself or taking bus. You can take a shuttle to Disneyland from any airport in Los Angeles. If you want drive from LAX to Disneyland, then take Highway 105 east for 16 miles before transferring to the Highway 605 you travel south for several miles. Then, you take Hwy 91 East for about seven miles, then transfer to Highway 5, where you head south for five miles. Exit on Disneyland Way and follow signs for the station.
Disneyland covers a large area to a spot of long-term planning is sensitive before leaving for your trip. If you intend to visit the station more than a day, then you can explore the possibilities offered by Disneyland hotels . There are several different hotels to choose from so it is unlikely that you'll be stuck for choice.
