Does Miami, FL have a good public transportation system??
Thinking of moving to Miami, FL and was wondering if they have a good public transportation system?? I also heard that they have a metrotrain there similar to the ones in New York and Chicago. Is this true? How far does it stretch?
I’m from Miami. Yes, we have a metrorail system here. Miami-Dade County’s 22-mile, elevated rapid transit system runs from Kendall through South Miami, Coral Gables, and downtown Miami; to the Civic Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital area; and to Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, and Medley in northwest Miami-Dade, with connections to Broward and Palm Beach counties at the Tri-Rail/Metrorail transfer station. You can get all the info from the source. Hope it helps.
Miami is much different than the other cities like New York City and Chicago. It is very spread-out and it requires lots of transportation.
