public transportation portland oregon
what is it like in portland, oregon?

thinking about possibly moving to portland, what are some cool areas or neighborhoods to live in? also we are dependent on our public transportation, and bicycles here is that possible to do in portland as well??

Portland has a great public transportation system and lots of bike lanes and bike paths. There is a lot of rain but it keeps it green. The summers are amazing with beautiful weather. In the winters, there is a lot of rain and it doesn’t get cold enough to snow very often in the city.

It sounds like you would like SE portland. Like Hawthorne, West Moreland, Woodstock, or Sellwood neighborhoods. There is easy access to down town by bus or bike. You may also like the Pearl it’s the new “hip” area to live downtown but it is expensive.

I used to live in near Reed College and really liked it but we wanted to buy a house and I got a job in Lake Oswego so we moved to Tigard.
