Freshman hs needs transportation from Queens to Bronx for school.?
My daughter is 14 and will be beginning high school at a Lehman College adjunct high school in the Bronx this September. It is a special honor for her to be accepted into this school/curriculum. But the commute by public transportation is two or so hours, so we need to find alternative transportation, a carpool or vanpool, and preferably a parent-sponsored or parent-involved alternative. Does anybody know of a resource, or a group, or an organization — or even a bus line — she could take that would be more efficient time-wise and safer, for a comparable price?
