San Francisco airport area to Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum best way to get there?
I’m flying into SF and wanting to go to an A’s game. Would my best bet to just take a Taxi? Or is there public transportation that could get me real close to the park? Never been so I don’t know how safe either areas are and don’t really want to be too much of a hassle or gamble too much since I’m traveling alone.
Also how long would it take to get there from SF? Any websites or taxi numbers would be appreciated as well.
Ok looking at the website it looks like the yellow line from the airport doesn’t go to the colliseum. So I will have to jump on a different route if I come from the airport correct?
I too would take BART. The website is http://www.bart.gov/ You can type in the info on departing and arriving and it will tell you how long it takes. BART is pretty safe. I have never had a problem on it. I have never been to the Oakland Coliseum so I don’t know what that area is like, but BART goes right to it and imagine that there will be enough people taking it that as long as you mind your own business you will be fine.
