What’s the best way to get to Wrigley Field from Palatine via public transportation?
There’s a Metra train station in Palatine near the intersection of Smith and Wood streets. Take it and get off at the Irving Park stop (check the schedule: not all trains from Palatine stop at Irving Park). Get off and ride the Irving Park bus east to Clark street. You can either catch the Clark street bus going south or walk. The ball park is not that far away from Irving Park and Clark Street. The bus costs $2
