In September '06, the Sidewinders won their first title in the Pacific Coast League Championship. For many years, Tucson has been home to two professional tournaments on the circuit, the Chrysler Classic PGA Tournament and the PING / Welch 's Championship races of the LPGA. As of February 2007, Tucson will host the Accenture Match Play Championship. Sixty-four of the World's Top-ranked Golfers will compete on the gallery breathtaking at Dove Mountain Golf Course at Marana, and aim to award $ 7.5 million.
