how much does a taxi ride cost from Seattle airport to downtown?
I want to get a taxi from the airport to ninth street or will it be better to get a shared ride van.
The last time I did that, it was around $40. (That was around 1980, though, so I would think it might be quite a bit more now). The shared van shuttle would be a much cheaper option.
BUT….for less than $2, you can catch a city bus right outside the baggage claim that will take you downtown. Of course, they make some stops on the way in–but if you’re lucky enough to catch the one on an “Express” route to downtown, it only makes about three or four of them.
