Are there any alternatives to greyhound or amtrak from sf bay area to arcata?
Just looking for something a little cheaper that runs regularly between the south bay and arcata. I am familiar with rideshare on CL but wanted to expand my options. Specifically, downtown San Jose but I could also get to San Francisco. Thanks everyone.
Thumbing a ride is about your only alternative if you are not driving yourself.
All other forms of public transportation are bound to be more expensive. Some airlines have flights as low as $49 from any of the three Bay Area airports to the various LA area airports.
