I want to buy a road bike?
I have a Devinci Cameleon, but I want a commuter /road /hyrbid bike, but more for road than anyting.
I have 2 choices for what I want to do :
A) buy a used bike for 200-300$
B) buy a new one for 600-950$
I’m leaning a lot towards option A
I’m just going to have and search for old bikes in bike stores, btu in case I don’t find anything I like. I’d like your opinions on what road bikes I should buy.
Here is what I’m interested in:
Giant OCR 3
Norco crd 24 junior road
Can someone tell me the price of these.
Oh ya !, and keep this in mind… I dont want clip pedals, I want V-brakes, not disk, I want nice and high riding posture and I want it to be as simple as possible.
I just want a road bike that will cost me the least possible
PS: If i were to sell my 2005 Devinci Cameleon, how much do you think I can get for it… It has been banged up pretty hard though.
I live in Canada, so only recommend me Canadian-made bikes
A mate of mine rides a Giant OCR3 – they are good bikes!
Why you should mention The OCR3 eludes me though ?
They do not have V-brakes,- they have calipers(like most road bikes do!) and they are not made in Canada!
Neverless, If I were you I would get one!
