… A fuel efficient car that has style and does not look like a dork mobile. I'm looking to buy used to save the ca $ h as well. What are your suggestions? I asked this question in polls and surveys of the article and I just had 3 responses and none of them have been useful. I thought about a Mini, but it takes premium gas and thats a waste of having to pay. Well, my 98 vette with 6-speed manual transmission gets about 33mpg highway and 24 when driven city "calm" (Believe me, my fuel consumption was reduced considerably once I eliminate some young fool taunting me in their Mustang GT, especially Mustang Shelby lolol ….). You can acquire good examples used for about $ 7,500 – $ 13,000 with a warranty if you know where to look. I rather advise Get a Toyota, but the factor dork for these vehicles, even if they are not higher since the reliability and resale are concerned may be through the roof lol.
