does sportronic mode save any gas?
i have an automatic eclipse but it has the sportronic 4 speed on the side so i was wondering….since manual is better on gas do i save gas at all by using that instead of just driving in “D” or is it the same because the car is automatic?
leave it in D. sportronic mode you shift at points you pick. in D if you by accelerating slowly and smoothly, the trans control module will learn that and shift to economy algorithyms.
