sydney commute
How far would you be willing to drive to work each day?

I got a summer job for 10 weeks in Wollongong, i live in Blacktown Sydney.

I have decided that i will drive to and from each day. All up it is a 110km one way drive. Does this sound crazy? Whereis.com predicts that the drive will take 1hour 35 minutes each way.
I mainly want to drive because i just cannot afford to rent a place in Woollongong for 10weeks over Christmas. (Im only a uni student).

So yeh, is this completely unreasonable? or does any one else commute long distance by car to their work?

I have a really small car, that can run at about 7L/100km on highway driving. It would cost around $80 in fuel a week. Still cheaper than renting.

must be a great job or pay really well
