fuel economy Lose Honda Civic?

My Civic is fairly new, and it is supposed to run an average of about 40 mph / Gal. However, it seems to get the fact that I lose a lot of fuel just after I gas up. I have a trunk rather empty each time, and I rarely turn on the A / C. My tires are properly inflated, and I rarely do sprints whirlwind of fire. What seems to be the problem? My parents bike with me when we want to carpool from time to time. Then the carriage of additional passengers on my fuel consumption too? I mean my car is designed to carry five passengers, especially since it is a 4-door.

Having a vehicle loaded with gas mileage definitely affects .. I think the first step would be to actually calculate your mileage … the next time you fill the note and miles and gallons calculate your actual expenses to see how far it is off …
