just some advice. easy 10 points!?

I told my friend that this Sunday we will watch two films together and we everything. and we carpool so his father sends us, my dad picks us up. but I just remember that this Sunday my mother would going on a business trip. if I go to the movies I would not be able to see her go. should I go to say goodbye to my mother or go to the movies the? BTW my mother does not really go so as well. at least it does not show it. What should I do? and I can not go on Saturday cuz i have lessons.
