Family / minus inner cities?
My family moved to Chicago the next year. My husband goes to work at the airport O'Hare and we hate to trip over 30 minutes. We also hate the traffic and the life of the city. Love to visit, prefer to live in a quiet suburb. We are more "country" people. Definition: We would like to have a grocery store within 5 miles but do not have to worry about to fly. We also need a good school. Suggestions? Our budget is over $ 800 to $ 1,000 in rent and we would not rent an apartment. Thank you!
Let's go on a limb here and suggest you try one of the neighborhoods north of Devon on the edge of Park Ridge. The preservation of our forests and golf courses to take to the jungle "concrete" and your husband could take the roads back to O'Hare and avoid I-190 traffic. With some serious research, you may be able to find someone to rent a bungalow with a yard and a garage approximately $ 1,000. It will not be easy, but I do not think it's impossible.
