Anyone seen car on HOV lane actually carry 3 passengers?
I have been driving on Don Mills (Toronto) at rush hours for a while now. I have seen no car using carpool lane actually carry 3 passengers (which it REQUIRES). Most of those vehicles consist only a lone jackass.
I am not saying I am going to start sinking to their level, but you cant stop wondering why are the traffic laws designed to reward those assholes. While others are stuck in traffic (0KMH), they cruise through at the speed of 80KMH
You think they would get caught? Maybe, but I bet most of them will go to court and get out of trouble anyway. If you factor in the time and gas they save everyday, it would be worth it for them. I wonder how low the IQ of a government official would need to be to consider HOV lane a good idea?
We have these in Houston, Texas and I never see 3 in a car. Ours allows 2 though. The popo nail the 1 car person every day. Its only a matter of time before police departments up there get smart and start to issue the tickets because it brings in money. Gotta make quota.
