Commuting from York University in Toronto?
Hi, I will participate in York in the fall and I decided to live in residences, and IM wondering how long does it take to get downtown. Could you recommend some apartments in downtown between York and that is beautiful and cheap. So I was accepted to study global policies and UofT have been accepted for Poli Sci so im wondering which is better. I herd u t is too large and very hard because they are trying to reduce class size by either people who drop or failure. Please help thank you very much!
As example, take bus 60 Steeles O York Finch Station take about 20 minutes. Take the subway from Finch to Bloor station takes about 25 minutes. Depending on traffic and delays (You can expect much), your trip to York "Downtown" Toronto will take 40 to 60 minutes. I think most people view the city center to start the Bloor station and extend to the lake, or Union Station. Bloor to Union Station takes 10-15 minutes. Please note that the 60 Steeles West bus is not the only way to get York subway line. I went to the University of Toronto as an undergraduate and he was pretty damn competitive both students and teachers need to keep the middle class to a certain level. However, I think the U of T would be a much better school for graduate studies. Because it is a great support and well-respected institution, they attract lots of funding and well-known professors and researchers. I speak to graduates of the SCI program Poli they had to be much more useful to get an idea of program there.
