Travel exotic ideas needed?
I'm single and want to make a journey of adventure type cool, avoiding most tourist traps. I checked Couch Surfing and also did something Carpool from Toronto to Texas and back. Can anyone offer alternatives to travel cheap and meet the locals? I like to mountain biking and hiking and sailing, meet people and have adventures in exotic places … and just need some ideas for a starting point. I have no time constraints. I just need to get away Same old city of my country of employment, etc.
