CA carpool stickers are going for around a $2k premium. Primary concern is mileage and that it’s still using its original battery. (could be expensive to replace)
I hear that the CA carpool sticker adds a $2k premium on hybrids because they are no longer issued. My primary concern is that it is running on its original battery that can be expensive to replace. It’s got 140,000+ miles on it too although they’ve rebuilt the transmission.
Is $7,000 for this car a good deal?
$7000 for a Prius with a rebuilt tranny, and 140,000 miles?? I wouldn’t touch that car. Replacing the battery is around $3000…save your money and get something better.
