university carpool
What about parking at the university?

I'm not the only one who has had a problem with that. Each student, I mentioned problems in my university had with parking. At certain times of the day, there are no parking spaces available for commuter students. You end up having to park on the grass in parking spots is not for us (as the spots on the faculty), and I saw some people park in many businesses across the street. Many people have complained about parking, but the university refuses to do something. I would like ro try to carpool with someone, but I do not know anyone with the same schedule as me, who would be willing to do. I no bike, otherwise I would consider the drive to class on nice days. Suggestions?

Unfortunately, it is a problem Recurrent sustained by each university that I have ever seen. This happens because the university sells more permits it has parking spaces for parking. This makes some sense, because not everyone is on campus at a time. But during rush hour, it creates serious problems. I am a faculty member and still find that I have to go to campus early to ensure you get a parking space near my office. Many universities have programs to match students to carpool together – if yours does the, you could maybe find someone to carpool with. You can also do what I do, and arrive on campus early to have a better chance of obtaining a suitable parking space. You could use the time to study in the library, or go see your professors, or simply spend time in the student union and people watch. You can also buy a bike Cheap Wal-Mart and find one in a second-hand shop. Good luck from a fellow sufferer parking shortage!
