Global warming – Does it really even exist?
When pondering this question, it is important to understand how temperature Earth is measured and has been measured for the last several hundred years. Staring at the period before 1750, there is no standardization the temperature measurement. (The thermometer was invented in 1714 by Gabriel Fahrenheit.) As the time passed between 1750 and 1850 numerous standards have been proposed, with an accuracy or minus (+/-) more than 1 º F. Between 1900 and 1950, this was reduced to 1 ° F + less / -. In the 1960s and 1970s, science advanced to 0.1 º F + / – accuracy and 1980 to the present time, we can now measure surface temperatures less than 0.01 º F by means of satellites that can measure temperature changes by varying vibrations of molecules in the atmosphere. That's good, but we do not generally use this information when people talk of "global warming."
The environmental alarmists to use the ground temperature based measures, which are notoriously bad at seeking evidence of warming climate. The weather stations across the U.S. are still moving from one place to another. This happened several years in Austin, Texas. Previously, all the weather observations were taken at the airport Mueller. When it was built in the late '50s, it was on the edge of the city. Little by little the town grew up around the airport meteorological data to distort with the effect of urban heat island. When the airport was built, the IH 35 no. At the time the airport has been moved, the road was several hundred feet wide that runs on the west end of the airport. What was once the campaign became suburbs. The first large scale shopping centers in Austin have been built less than a mile from the airport. What had been in the country was now surrounded by hundreds of thousands of commuters and their cars every day. What had been green pastures was Now asphalt parking lots and highways.
Today, the airport was moved to the site of the former Bergstrom Air Force Base. Later in the country once again and this time at a much lower elevation, near the Colorado River Basin. The result? Suddenly we have cold temperatures Bergstrom as weather observers to measure the cold air that sinks into the lower elevations. Can we say that "climate change" in Austin or that we are simply measuring temperatures in a different language?
In Bend Oregon weather station has moved 3 times over the past 30 years. At one point he was in a canyon that was warmer than most city. Each time he moved, there were significant differences in temperatures measured over from year to year.
In a city of Arizona, daytime temperatures were measured on the lawn of the courthouse that has been watered frequently. If weather station was moved onto the road to a dry, temperatures became too warm to 10 º. Does change climate "?"
In California, measures have been taken concerning the tarmac of the airport during his visit to grass area, the time per day has fallen by nearly 8 º F. A weather observation station was found in the registration temperatures near the air conditioning compressor outside the building.
While this decline has resulted in that the supporting data Global warming is horribly flawed.
"It's the sun, stupid! – If the Earth warms, the sun with active solar flares. When solar flares disappear – called a solar minimum – the Earth cools a bit. It is a phenomenon observable and demonstrable. The sun radiates energy onto the surface of the planet at a rate of 1365.3 watts per square meter – every day – all day. That 349 trillion kilowatts, distributed across the surface of the earth by the sun each day. (3 trillion kilowatt-hours per year – 3,059,334,000,000,000,000 kW)
As human beings stunted, we can now produce only 17 trillion kilowatts per year. By comparison, production of the Sun is 176,000 times greater than ours.
All this does not even begin to take into account the ability of oceans to absorb heat, the insulation effect Cloud (the main house gas green) or geothermal energy has been here since the formation of the planet – geothermal reservoir ultimate.
For someone to think that man can change the climate is like saying an ant can change the course of a supertanker.
The facts are ignored by alarmists to the environment because they do not serve their cause. The media will not print an article that says something so banal as "Earth's temperature in relation to the Sun." It is simply not attractive enough to bring back what we already know and can demonstrate.
2008 and may drop the coldest record year for the past 100 years. The winter of 2008 to 2009 is one of the largest "Natural disasters to hit China in decades. Nearly one million of the building were damaged and airports have been close due to snowstorms. Hong Kong has the second-longest cold spell since 1885.
In Vietnam, 40% of the rice crop has been slipped through the record cold along with 33,000 head of cattle. In Mumbai, India, they recorded the lowest temperature in 40 years.
In International Falls, Minn., where lakes freeze 6 feet deep, they broke their previous record of -37 º F with a temperature reading of -40 º F.
In March 2008, NASA has indicated that the oceans have been cooling for the last 5 years. sea levels have risen steadily and the cyclone Northern Hemisphere and hurricane activity is at a low level in 24 years.
As environmental alarmists are in denial, stating that it is a short term trend, the government of Great Britain goes ahead with legislation to "cool the climate." This after London experienced its first snowfall in October since 1934 and Ireland has experienced the coldest October in 70 years.
On April 11, a professor at Purdue told the Christian Science Monitor "This is what you'd expect from global warming, because global warming" is not necessarily always a warmer climate, but a more variable climate. "In other words, all weather variations are evidence of warming planet. If that makes sense to you, then I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.
